Getting Started with Delegate

📲  How can I start using Delegate?
We are still in private beta. To join our waitlist, sign up to Delegate on our website. After signing up, you'll be provided an on-screen link to fill out a quick survey. 

We'll send you a unique access code after completing your survey (typically within a few business days). 

Download our app (iOS or Android) and that code! Add a default payment method & send us your first request!

No worries! Send us email to support@getdelegate.com. Our team will connect with you & make sure you're up and running.

🔠  I’m still waiting for my access code. What can I do?
Our waitlist is getting bigger everyday, so it may take some time to assign you with a unique entrance code. Keep an eye on your inbox to see if got the code. You can always contact support@getdelegate.com, we are here to help with anything!

Using the app

👨🏼‍💻  Are you humans or bots?
You will always be speaking with a real human! We are a technology team with amazing AI technology - paired with human interaction. Our response teams are based in Boston, MA and beyond - and they know how to search, compare, suggest and/or book the best tailored results out there. 

👨🏽‍💻  When will my Chief of Stuff reply to my request?
Our human response teams are available:
Monday - Friday 9:00am - 8:00pm EST
Sunday 9:00am - 6:00pm EST

We aim to take care of each request within 8 business hours - and sometimes quicker!
 
 ✅  How can I mark a request as completed?
After we've taken care of a request, your Chief of Stuff will mark it as completed!

If you want to close a request ahead of time though, you can do so by: 

  1. Open your Delegate app
  2. Select the "My Tasks" page 
  3. Select the task you want to close
  4. Tap on the option button
  5. Select "Mark as closed"

(Please know, when you close an in-progress task, it will signal to your Chief of Stuff to stop working on it!)

📨  Can I email requests to my Chief of Stuff?
The most efficient way to send requests is via our app. (We're able to provide the most seamless experience that way!)

However, if you prefer to send a request via email, you can do so by sending it to service@getdelegate.com.

🧞‍♂️  Is there a limit of how many requests I can ask from the experts?

Overall we offer an unlimited amount of requests per month. However, at any given time, you can have 3 open requests concurrently. This helps your Chief of Stuff understand what is high priority for you, and take care of your most important needs first! 

🤷🏽‍♀️  I want to use the app but what can I ask it?
Great question! This article has great ideas to get you started - with real life examples of how we use our Chief of Stuff ourselves!

💼  Can you help me with business or work-related requests?
We aim to give you your personal time back - we think it's one of the best things about Delegate! We want to reduce your time consuming personal to-do's and remove them from your plate. Because of this, our focus is on personal requests only, so we cannot complete business or work-related items at this time.

✈️  I’m living outside the U.S, can I use the app?
At the moment, we're only available within the U.S. (Keep an eye open on our website, we'll let you know when we're available elsewhere there!)

🗣  Do you offer a referral program?
We love when our users share Delegate & we can't wait for them to join!
To get them started, let them know to fill out our quick survey, and we'll take it from there!

👨‍👩‍👧‍👧  Can I add more family members?
Right now, each Delegate account is for individual, personal use only. Additional family members can feel free to sign up to get their personal time back too!
